Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is a month marked globally by the drive to raise awareness for breast cancer. Known as ‘Pinktober,’ it highlights the significance of early detection and treatment and also sets up an atmosphere of education, awareness, and support for people affected by breast cancer.

Informative infographics describing how to perform breast and testicular self-examination have been hung in restrooms in our offices. It’s a simple yet impactful step, encouraging every individual to be proactive about their health. By providing clear instructions and visual cues, we aim to instill a culture where self-examination becomes a regular routine. It’s crucial to detect cancer early, and we want to remind you of that. A few minutes spent on self-examination can potentially save lives, making the difference between a treatable stage of cancer and one that’s far more advanced.

Moreover, as part of our Pinktober initiatives, we have declared a special “Pink Day” in October. On this day, we will encourage our employees to wear pink to show their support for the cause and stand in solidarity with people affected by breast cancer. It’s more than just a color; it’s a statement, a beacon of hope, and a reminder that together, we can make a difference.

As we engage in these activities, we hope to reinforce the message that early detection of cancer is crucial.

Let’s wear pink!
