On May 23, 2024, Schibsted Tech Polska celebrated its 10th anniversary with an event at Marisco in Sopot. This milestone gathered our partners and employees for an unforgettable evening.
Reflecting on a Decade of Growth
Katarzyna Kowalczyk- Country Manager/CFO and Filip Szczucki- Business Development Director led the official part, sharing the history of Schibsted Tech Polska. During the event, we reminisced about the early years of collaboration with Growth portfolio companies, which resulted in significant achievements, and the evolution of SEALS, which maximized its growth potential during the pandemic.
In 2018, we moved to a new, modern office, quickly recognized as the best in Schibsted. Sven Størmer Thaulow- Chief Data and Technology Officer at Schibsted, mentioned this in a special video message. This new space fostered innovation and became a hub for groundbreaking projects.
Gratitude was also expressed to John Einar Sandvand- Senior Communication Manager at Schibsted, who helped build Schibsted Tech Polska in Gdańsk from the very beginning.

Filip Szczucki concluded the official part of the event, emphasizing the importance of trust, respect, and personal relationships:
“We wouldn’t be celebrating our 10th anniversary without your dedication, engagement, and high competences. It’s the Employees, the Partners, and the unbreakable connections we have built throughout the years that have made STP operations in Gdańsk so successful.” –he said.
The celebration continued until dawn, filled with delicious food, and dancing. It was not only a night of celebration, but also an opportunity to strengthen team bonds and exchange ideas for the future.
