ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are on the lookout for an Engineering Manager to lead our Privacy Services team at Schibsted Media. This pivotal role is at the heart of our commitment to protecting user privacy and ensuring compliance with GDPR, e-privacy, and other privacy regulations. You will lead a dedicated team of 5 software engineers, overseeing the development and maintenance of critical privacy technologies that keep us at the forefront of data protection.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the Privacy Services team, ensuring high motivation and efficiency in developing cost-effective technology solutions for privacy compliance.
- Oversee the continuous development and enhancement of our Privacy Broker platform, ensuring swift and accurate compliance with user data deletion requests and data take-outs.
- Develop our Privacy Settings platform to manage and refine the system that oversees customer permissions for the use of their profile data.
- Direct the advancement of our Consent Management Platform, maintaining a robust system for capturing and managing customer consents regarding behavioural data use.
- Ensure all privacy-related systems are compliant with current laws and adaptable to future changes in privacy regulations, safeguarding our reputation and customer trust.
