Google I/O is one of the hottest events for developers each year – and the USD 900 tickets for the onsite conference in San Francisco immediately disappear as soon as the registration opens.
But there is no reason to despair if you did not get tickets in San Francisco. On May 28th and 29th Schibsted Tech Polska will organize live-streaming of the conference in our offices in Gdańsk.

Google I/O Extended 2015 Gdańsk
The event is one of several hundred similar events around the world – called Google I/O Extended. Last year 590 live-streaming events like this were organized.
Schibsted Tech Polska is proud to welcome developers in Gdańsk to our offices in Olivia Business Centre from 17:30 on Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th.
We will stream live on a big screen the Google I/O program that takes place before lunch at the conference in San Francisco. This will include the main keynote presentation from Google.
The streaming will end around 22:30 each night, but of course we are all up for chatting about what we will have just seen.
And yes, of course we will provide food and drinks!
But be quick to register: We have room for only 40 people – including some of our own employees – and expect the seats to be filled very quickly!
Secret program
What will be presented at this year’s Google I/O? As usual, Google itself is not letting out too much information. But expect hot news about the direction Google sees the tech world is going.
Tech sites have already started to publish rumors, for instance in this article in Tech Radar. Google’s official program, however, only mentions cryptic “Sessions and Sandbox”.
Of course you can watch the live stream at home. But will it not be much more fun to see it on a big screen together with other programmers?

Schibsted Tech Polska’s office in Gdańsk is still quite new – and we are eager to show it to fellow developers. For us organizing Google I/O Extended 2015 Gdańsk is an excellent opportunity to both listen to exciting news from one of the biggest technology companies and at the same time welcome colleagues from other companies to our offices.
