For the fourth time in a row: Schibsted Tech Polska organizes its annual Schibsted Tech Polska Winter Event. Every year it has grown. The first Winter Event in 2012 had 9 participants. Today no less than 180 people – of which 60 are Scandinavians – will meet at Mikołajki Hotel by the Mazurian lakes.
– The Schibsted Tech Polska Winter Event is definitely our most important social event during the year when employees in Krakow and Gdansk meet informally with colleagues from our 19 partner companies in Norway and Sweden, says Stig A. Waagbø, CEO in Schibsted Tech Polska.

Hotel Mikolajki where the STP Winter Event will take place
The last years the STP Winter Event has been organized in the Zakopane area in southern Poland. This year Schibsted Tech Polska wanted to try a new location, also to show its many Scandinavian guests a different part of the country.
Employees and guests are travelling either with the luxurious Pendolino train from Krakow and then bus from Warsaw – or by bus from Gdansk.
Conference with talk show
Participants will arrive tonight – on Wednesday, February 11 – and tomorrow the Winter Event starts with a professional conference, including a talk show and presentations for the annual STP Awards.
Then it is off to numerous fun activities in the afternoon, such as dog sledding, cross country skiing, howercraft, snow mobiles and of course spa.

Party time
In the evening there is a huge party – with gala dinner, dancing and ice bar. And the prices in the STP Awards will be given out: Project of the Year, Team of the Year and Innovation of the Year. Each winner receives a check of 5000 PLN to be spent for their team.
