The STP Partner Survey – polling software engineers, product owners and managers in our cooperating companies – , gives a very clear answer:
The number 1 reason is the high quality of work delivered by software developers in Schibsted Tech Polska.
The top five list
The respondents were given a long list of assumed benefits of working with Schibsted Tech Polska – and asked to prioritize which they agreed most to.
Here is the top five on the list:

- Easier to recruit programmers
- Colleagues who challenge us
- More qualified programmers
- International work environment
This is the third year the partner survey is done. And in all years – across all groups – high quality of work has consistently been on top.
This year “low costs” for the first time did not make it to the top five list.
Appreciate the skills
The survey shows that the partners abroad clearly appreciate the competencies and skills of the employees in Schibsted Tech Polska.
“We are very happy to see that our partners in Scandinavia and other locations consistently rate the quality and competencies of our software engineers so highly! Schibsted Tech Polska takes great care in recruiting only the best software engineers and we have several programs – such as the STP Academy and personal training budgets – to help them develop further. It is good to see that these efforts pay off,” says CEO Stig A. Waagbø.
“But why is the management rating dropping slightly?”
“That is hard to tell. However, it is still a high rating. We have this year done a comprehensive 360-degree analysis of more than 20 managers and team leaders. Each has met with a consultant afterward to learn about his/her results and how to improve. All in all the results from the 360-degree analysis were very good – and we are now designing a program to help our managers and team leaders develop even further. “
