Schibsted Tech Polska now has 22 different partner companies, most of them part of Schibsted Media Group. Once a year representatives from all the partners gather for the Schibsted Tech Polska Partner Days. This is an opportunities for the partners to share experiences with each other.
The STP Partner Days 2015 were held on September 2nd and 3rd in historic surroundings: Niepołomice Royal castle 25 kilometres outside Krakow. With a history going back to 1348, the castle served as a royal residence for centuries.
The conference program had four major parts.
- The road forward for Schibsted Tech Polska and the annual partner survey
- Using data in product development. The keynote presentation was held by Adam Kinney, head of data science in Schibsted Media Group
- How to best invest in people and their competencies
- Building solid roadmaps
And in the evening the participants enjoyed a knight fight show in the castle square followed by a delicious Polish dinner.
On the second day the participants gathered for the Schibsted Tech Polska Fair – a snapshot into no less than 12 different projects developed in the company.
“It was a great inspiration for us to meet with all the partners at the same time. And we see that Schibsted Tech Polska also has an important role in bringing them together and facilitate that we share experiences and learn from each other, ” says CEO Stig A. Waagbø.
