The goal of this project was to create advanced and scalable search engine with rich user interface and additionally rebrand existing service with editorial content.
Technologies we used in the project were: ElasticSearch, DropWizard, Play! Framework, IMBO Image Server, Varnish, LESS, require.js, Phantom.js, Vagrant with Puppet and allowed us to build a very flexible and scalable solution. Great achievement of the project was the implementation of the mobile first approach.
