Schibsted Tech Polska invites partners and employees to the STP Winter Event 2015 on February 11 – 13 in Mikołajki at the Mazurian lakes in northern Poland.
For the fourth time STP Winter Event is organized. Last year 140 people participated – of which more than 40 were from our partner companies.
This year´s winter event will have a different concept. We will go to the beautiful Mazurian lakes in northern Poland. It will be days of exciting professional program, fun outdoor activities and an amazing party in the evening.
The area – also called “land of thousand lakes” – is known for its beautiful nature. In winter it opens up for some fascinating experiences and spectacular white landscapes.
We will stay at the luxurious Mikołajki Hotel
The program
We are organizing the program so that only two working days – Thursday and Friday will be spent on the event.
Participants will travel to Mikołajki in the evening of Wednesday, February 11th.
Thursday, February 12th will have a full day program
- An exciting professional program in the morning. Details to follow
- A fun afternoon with lots of alternative outdoor- and indoor activities.
- An amazing evening party
Friday will be transportation back to Gdansk or Krakow (see below).
Activities
In the afternoon a set of fun activities have been planned, such as:
- Dog sledding
- Ice yatching
- Snow mobiles
- Ice sculpting
- Ice hockey
- Cross country skiing
Who can join?
The STP Winter Event is for employees in Schibsted Tech Polska and persons working in our 19 partner companies.
The main purpose is to build strong relations between our employees and colleagues in Scandinavia, both by having fun together and by learning from each other.
Transportation for guests from Scandinavia
Guests from Scandinavia are suggested to fly in to Gdansk on Wednesday, February 11.
There will bus from Gdansk to Mikołajki for Gdansk employees and Scandinavian guests. The bus trip takes around 2 1/2 hours.
There will be two busses leaving from Gdansk. The first one will leave from our office at 16:30 – and the second from the airport at 18:30.
The second bus is coordinated with the SAS flight arriving at 18:05 (from Stockholm or Oslo via Copenhagen).
On Friday there will be a return bus in the morning leaving Mikołajki early enough for guests to reach the SAS flight to Oslo (an onwards to other cities) at 13:05. There will also be an option to leave later in the day for those who prefer that.
Transportation for employees in Krakow
Employees from Krakow will go in a specially hired wagon in the Pendolino train to Warsaw and transfer with bus from there.
The total transportation time will be around 5+ hours, but we will make sure it is comfortable and fun.
Scandinavian guests who are in Krakow can choose to join this transportation if they prefer. The train will leave from Krakow around 2 PM in the afternoon.
