It is time to get it into your calendar: STP Partners Days 2015 will be hosted in Krakow on September 2nd and 3rd. And the setting will be royal!
For the third year in a row Schibsted Tech Polska invites to our annual Partners Days. The event is a great opportunity for product owners, tech leads, programmers, managers and others in all our 21 partner companies to meet and learn from each other.
This year’s Partners Days will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd and Thursday, September 3rd. And the venue for the first day is Niepołomice Royal castle 25 kilometres outside Krakow. The castle’s history goes back to 1348. The so-called Second Wawel served a royal residence for centuries.
Two-day program
The Partners Days will be organized so that visitors from Scandinavia can travel to Krakow in the morning of Wednesday, September 2nd and return in the evening the next day.
The program ends with a lunch on the second day. However, we do expect that some of you will decide to stay in Krakow for one more night to meet with your team.

Wednesday: Conference and dinner in Niepołomice castle
The castle used to be a royal residence for several hundred years
A bus will be waiting at the airport in Krakow for participants arriving with the Norwegian flight from Oslo at 11:45. You will be transported directly to Niepołomice castle. Another bus will wait for participants arriving with the Norwegian flight from Stockholm at 12:25.
- From 13:00: Informal outdoor lunch at Niepołomice.
- 14:30 – 18:30: Conference with the following main topics:
- The road forward for STP, by CEO Stig A. Waagbø
- The results from the annual STP partner survey – with a panel discussion
- CTO Rian Liebenberg in Schibsted Media Group: Building and scaling a world-class technology organization and culture
- How we invest in people and their competence. Presentations from STP and several of the partners
- Building solid roadmaps. Presentations from STP and partners
- 20:00: Drinks in the castle square
- 20:30: Dinner and party
Thursday: STP Fair lunch in our offices
STP Fair will take place in our offices in Armii Krajowej
After a solid breakfast you will be transported by a bus to Schibsted Tech Polska’s offices.
From 10 to 12 together with the employees we will have the Schibsted Tech Polska Fair. This is a series of parallel presentations of projects in our company – and an excellent opportunity to learn more about what other partners are developing. You can pick from no less than 12 different presentations.
The program will end with an informal lunch at noon, hopefully on our rooftop terrace, if the weather permits.
For those visitors who have time and would like to see more of Krakow, we will organize a sightseeing program in the afternoon

Accomodation
Participants from our partner companies will stay in either the hotel connected to the castle or another hotel close-by. Reservation of rooms will be organized by STP when you register for the event.
If you would like to stay in Krakow until Friday, we recommend that you book room in a city hotel on Thursday night.
Transportation
Guests will be picked up from the airport in Krakow on Wednesday, September 2nd in connection with the two recommended flights:
- From Oslo we recommend Norwegian DY1040 leaving Oslo at 09:40 and arriving in Krakow at 11:45
- From Stockholm we recommend Norwegian DY4901 leaving Arlanda at 10:30 and arriving in Krakow at 12:25
Guests arriving at other times will need to take a taxi to the castle on their own .
In case of returning in the afternoon/evening there are several options both to Oslo and Stockholm. Most options (except Ryanair to Rygge or Skavsta) are transit flights.
We expect that some of you will take the opportunity to meet up with your team(s) in the afternoon and/or evening, and return on Friday.
