Who is it for?
The STP Winter Event is an annual off-site team building event for employees of Schibsted Tech Polska.
But no STP team works alone – and therefore we also invite colleagues from our partner companies and other Schibsted units. We like to build strong relations among product and tech people across the companies – and hope to see lots of colleagues from Scandinavia, London, Barcelona and other places!
The STP Conference
The program for the STP Conference is still in the making.
Keynote speaker: Pellegrino Riccardi
But the first keynote speaker is ready: The culture expert Pellegrino Riccardi.
He will talk about “The good, the bad and the ugly in Scandinavian work culture” – pointing out all the non-verbal signals we need to be aware of when working with people from other cultures.
Pellegrino Riccardi is a very engaging and entertaining speaker with vast knowledge about the complications of cross-cultural communication.
He was also the keynote speaker at the STP-sponsored Norwegian IT Night 2016 in Gdansk, and the more than 400 software engineers who attended that event rated his presentation at 4,9 on a scale from 1 to 5.
Keynote speaker: Karina Birkeland Lome
No winter event without the STP Awards!
During the conference, STP teams present their nominated projects. They compete in four categories:
- Project of the year
- Improvement of the year
- Team of the year
- Blogger of the year
