As Workday Functional Analyst, your purpose is to support Schibsted in its ambition to become increasingly digital by providing state-of-the-art scalable and integrated HR platforms that provide a faster, happier, better and safer end to end user experience to our internal customers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Responsible for actively participating in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through configuration, testing, training, communication and deployment
- Perform consultant-like duties on Workday projects, responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, testing and deployment of the Workday solution under supervision of more senior team members.
- Develop working relationships with other members of team and management as well as external clients
- Understand the value of a project plan, adheres to established processes and standards, monitors progress of tasks against plan, and reports status to appropriate team members as it relates to project issues
- Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimise the use Workday with the end to end process and a great user experience in mind
- Act as tier 2 & 3 support for operational issues from both HR and Business users. Actively working on solving tickets (ServiceNow)
- Train colleagues in the people community and the wider Schibsted in becoming strong Data-Driven Workday users and advocates to the business
- Contribute to knowledge management capital through activities such as sharing documented lessons learned, Q&A, documented deliverables & facilitation of knowledge sharing sessions
ABOUT YOU
We believe you have some experience with Workday configuration. Prior certification is a plus. It is important that you understand the HR operations and have experience in employee data management. We believe you have the ability to prioritise workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution. As well as understanding of the business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements
You are a driven self starter with problem-solving skills. Attention to detail is a must as well as an analytical mindset. The collaboration skills of yours are excellent and the ability to work cross-border. To be fluent in English is needed for the role. You are keen to develop your skills through both on the job and external training.
