Join our dynamic department of 15 engineers and professionals across Gdansk, Stockholm, Oslo, and Aarhus. Our mission is to streamline and enhance the car trading experience, overseeing the complete sales journey, from advertising to delivery and post-sale support. Dive into a tech stack that includes TypeScript, React.js, JS/UI frameworks and libraries, C# .Net for the backend, AWS as our cloud provider, and Git with Github for version control.
🔷 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Work with ground-breaking technology and be surrounded by highly skilled colleagues. Produce phenomenal quality by constantly improving, testing new tools, and spending time on training , pairing , and mob programming.
- Work on Microservices within an event-based architecture using React.js, Next.js and other JS/UI libraries , TypeScript, HTML/JS/CSS, and Node.js.
- Release your own code continuously and often, being responsible for your change from commit to production. Ensure quality by writing automated unit , and E2E tests.
- Collaborate with our Schibsted colleagues in the Nordics around software solutions , using shared services and exchanging knowledge.
🔷 KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Experienced Front-End developer with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Proficient with React.js and modern JS/UI frameworks and libraries, and have a solid understanding of HTML/JS/CSS, TypeScript and Git Experience with Node.js and building shareable component packages
- Basic understanding of SEO and Server-Side-Rendering
- Prioritise user experience and sense of user interface aesthetics
- Familiar with automated testing like E2E tests and unit testing
- Knowledge about tracking of user behaviours
- Knowledgeable in agile software development
- Fluent in English
