Mittanbud is the largest tender service in Norway, established in 2009. It acts as an intermediary in tenders to over 30.000 suppliers throughout the country. Every week, it sends 5.000 new work assignments to companies registered on the Mittanbud platform.
In 2022 the Finnish version, Remppatori, was launched with more countries coming soon.
Mittanbud product is developed by the teams located in two offices: Oslo and Gdańsk.
On the Norwegian side, we have several teams we work with. These are back-end DevOps developers, SQA, data and front-end developers. In total, there are about 40 people associated with the office in Oslo.
In the Gdańsk office, we’re 6 people working with the frontend (web & native), backend and dev-ops. We want the Gdańsk team to grow and expand its competencies and responsibilities.
đź”· ABOUT THE ROLE
We offer you a job in a very stable and mature project, with a harmonious team of experienced engineers. We are going to implement our solutions in new markets, therefore we are enlarging our teams.
Your primary responsibility will be to diligently maintain and continuously develop an internal CRM system. It’s the heart of the organisation and consists of over a dozen microservices that are written in PHP. Our goal is to extract current solutions into more microservices.
Team uses SCRUM on a daily basis. You will have an impact on what and how the functionality is implemented. This might require working and aligning with other teams to understand and meet their expectations. In addition to your technical prowess, you will also leverage your analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to proactively identify areas for improvement.
We expect you have good skills and experience with:
- PHP (OOP)
- SQL (MySQL – MariaDB)
- REST / GraphQL / WebSockets
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD
We do not expect you to know all of them, but it would be great if you have experience with some of the following tools/technologies:
- RabbitMQ
- Elasticsearch & the ELK stack
- Docker / Kubernetes
- AWS
- JavaScript (ECMAScript / TypeScript)
