JS Fullstack Developer (Mid)

We’re looking for JS Fullstack Developer to join KickBack team in our Gdańsk office!

KickBack is an e-commerce platform, allowing users to save real money. We have three core products – voucher-code sites and two cashback platforms. In the last year, we have delivered a new version of our cashback platform to Sweden. During this year we have merged with SVOSJ and we are working on expanding the product.

We have deployed our NodeJS microservices on GCP using Kubernetes. For the frontend, we use ReactJS alongside Next.js.

In Gdańsk, we are a team of three full-stack developers, working closely with a remote team of 7 in Norway.

In this role, you will be taking care of both the frontend and backend sides of the application. The frontend is a Next.js application using Redux as a store; however knowledge of other state management tools is nice to have. For the backend, we use Node.js (mostly Express.js) alongside TypeScript. Other than that, you will be using testing frameworks (Jest), responsive web design (SASS, CSS modules), Git, and Github.

We follow best practices like unit and end-to-end testing, use different continuous integration tools, and utilize cloud platforms: GCP and Kubernetes.

As a member of the team, you will be part of a high speed, inclusive, and fun environment where trust, openness, collaboration, and passion is key. We are humble and care a lot about our craft, always helping each other to become better at it. We test, we fail, and learn together.
