Join Account Experience, the team that works on Checkout Flow – a simple and easy to use solution to buy digital and print subscriptions in a secure way through a wide variety of payment methods. With our My Page we provide a destination where the end user can manage brand-specific services. We empower users to handle functions such as: subscriptions, newsletter settings, payments methods and delivery management for print subscriptions.
ABOUT THE TEAM
- We play an important role in the customers’ journey from unknown user to paying subscriber.
- Our team consists of a Product Manager, UX designers in Norway, and 7 fullstack developers in Poland.
- We try to experiment and challenge our own technology choices as much as possible. We have a big influence on what’s being built and what tools and technologies are applied.
- We put a strong emphasis on self-development and knowledge sharing.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be working on the next generation of subscriptions based models. The tech stack is modern and up-to-date:
- Javascript, Typescript
- Backend: Node.js supported by Express and Hapi.js frameworks
- We use AWS as our cloud provider. We favour the “Infrastructure as Code” pattern using Terraform and Convox
- Frontend: React.js as framework
- Git for version control, Travis for continuous integration & deployment
ABOUT YOU
- You have strong Technical background in Node.js
- You lead technical discussions and shape the vision of products the team is working on
- You are engaged in cross-team initiatives and cooperate closely with Product Manager
- You demonstrate ownership by taking initiative, making decisions, and being accountable
- You are familiar with React.js ecosystem
- You have a strong awareness and understanding of security principles and best practices
- You contribute to high quality of deliveries and understand the importance of testing
- You guide the team to follow best practices
- You are open to a feedback culture
It’s a plus
- You are well-versed in systems architecture design
- You have experience in working in eCommerce or FinTech industry
- Prior experience as tech lead
