Schibsted Tech Polska invites all Schibsted Android developers to Gdańsk, Poland for an internal conference – a two-day Android jam session.
After successful Schibsted iOS Jam, we decided to organize another mobile conference, this time dedicated to Android developers.

1. Knowledge sharing
Get a chance to meet people who create shared components and tools. Let’s avoid reinventing the wheel and make better use of what we’ve already done. And move faster.
2. Community building
By closer cooperation, we can achieve much more. We can develop Android standards and recommendations, promote good solutions and contribute to Open Source and Android community more actively.
3. Socializing
Get to know other Schibsted Android developers. People are not Slack avatars. It’s always easier to talk to someone you’ve already met.

Costs
Schibsted Tech Polska will cover the cost connected to the event itself (venue, lunches, afterparty).
All other costs (travel and accommodation) will be covered by your company, so please make sure you have the approval from your manager before you register.
Registration and accommodation
We don’t do any booking on our side but recommend staying in neighboring city Sopot – known for its health spas, sandy beach and its long wooden pier that extends into the Bay of Gdańsk. We can recommend those two hotels:
