Location: Kraków
We are looking for a talented full stack developer to join the team creating a portal for a local Norwegian newspaper: Stavanger Aftenblad. Currently we are working on a mobile app (still your favorite web technologies + some nice extras) which makes it easier to get through the everyday traffic in Stavanger/Sandnes. Our next project will let the locals get fresh updates on what happens in the city.
As a team member you are going to leverage the power of Symfony 2, Node.js, Angular, Redis, Varnish, AWS, Heroku and many others every day. We strongly emphasize testing, code quality and skills sharing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience in PHP and/or Node.js
- Experience with HTML and JavaScript
- Deep understanding of relational databases (at least one)
- Experience using Git or Subversion
ADDITIONAL:
- Experience with caching (ex. key-value stores, reverse proxy)
- Knowledge of such frameworks as Symfony 2, ZF 2, Angular, Express
- Familiarity with design patterns
- Good understanding of Continuous Integration and Delivery
- BDD/TDD experience
- Some experience with Scrum/Agile
- Good English language skills
